Patrick Tse Yin, one of Hong Kong cinema’s most iconic leading men, has passed away at 89. Tse leaves behind a remarkable career spanning more than seven decades. Beginning in the 1950s, Tse became a major star of the golden age of Hong Kong film, later working as an actor, producer, writer, and director.
Known for films such as Invincible Eight, Shaolin Soccer, Rouge, Temptress Moon, Kawashima Yoshiko, and Time, Tse’s charisma and versatility made him one of the industry’s most respected figures.
