Martial arts icon Tony Jaa (Striking Rescue, Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy) is reuniting with fellow action stars Dan Chupong (Ong-Bak, Vengeance of Assassin) and Jeeja Yanin (Furious, Chocolate, Triple Threat) for a brand new, untitled martial arts project.
This news was first shared by the Panna Stunt Team, who teased the project by saying, “Your first look is here! Witness the ultimate reunion of Thailand’s action superstars.” This Thailand-based stunt company is named after the late Panna Rittikrai, the mastermind behind the legendary action of Jaa’s Ong-Bak and Tom-Yum-Goong.
🔥 Footnote: This untitled project marks Tony Jaa’s first film since news broke of his battle with gallbladder cancer. After reportedly undergoing successful treatment, looks like he’s back in business!
Whether this project turns out to be a full-length feature, a short film, or some kind of promotional piece, we’ll let you know. A Trailer is expected in few days.
For now, here’s a pack of photos from the project, followed by the Trailer for Jaa’s latest, Striking Rescue:

G.O.A.T.
Given his filmography as a whole do you think Tony Jaa lived up to the early promise we saw in the one two punch of Ong Bak and Tom Yum Goong? To me those movies were felt fresh in their execution and came at the exact right time. But when i look at the movies post Ong Bak 2 there’s a decline in quality. His career reminds me of Oasis, The Strokes and Interpol. Wow the world with your first 2 releases and then coast on that legacy for the rest of your career.
