“Chinese Salesman” Chinese Theatrical Poster

Former heavyweight champ, Mike Tyson (Ip Man 3) and Aikido sensation Steven Seagal (Exit Wounds), have an appearance in China Salesman (aka Chinese Salesman), an action film written and directed by Tan Bing (aka Geng Weiguo).

Other cast members include Janicke Askevold (My Way), Eriq Ebouaney and Dong-xue Li (1911). Hong Kong legend Ching Siu Ting (Dragon Inn), who worked with Seagal on 2003’s Belly of the Beast, is rumored to be involved.

Currently, no other details are known about China Salesman, other than the film has a domestic release date set for June 16th, 2017.

    This is being filmed near Beijing, also Inner Mongolia, and Tunisia.

    QC: Poster shows that name of the film is “China Salesman” not “Chinese Salesman”. It also states that the public release date _in China_ is May 26th, not the 28th. (The premier is on the 20th of May.) — Cast member

    This looks terrible. Usual bad acting and stilted English dialog. Not for me.

    I haven’t laughed like that for quite some time….an action movie based on 2 rival telecoms companies bidding to work in Africa! Seriously!?

    “As Susanna wants this bid to be in sync with the latest technology, I suggest we change the standard to 3G.”
