“We Die Young” Blu-ray Cover
Today’s Deal on Fire is the Blu-ray Jean-Claude Van Damme’s 2019 thriller We Die Young. The film comes from Acclaimed filmmaker Lior Geller (known for his short film Roads, which holds the Guinness World Record for Most Awards Won by a Short Student Film).
In We Die Young, Lucas (Elijah Rodriguez, Sicario 2: Soldado), a 14-year-old boy inducted into the gang life in Washington D.C., is determined that his 10-year-old brother won’t follow the same path. When an Afghanistan war veteran (Van Damme) comes into the neighborhood, an opportunity arises.
According to sources, the director did 7 years of research working with veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, local DC cops and even former gang members who granted exclusive access into the highly insulated world of what the FBI considers to be America’s most dangerous gang.
The film also stars Joseph Long (American Assassin), Joana Metrass (Once Upon a Time TV series), David Castañeda (Sicario 2: Soldado) and Gary Beadle (The Interceptor TV series).

The description had me curious but wow, that trailer was awful. It was like those old ones from the 90s with the guy starting out “In a world…”
