On February 25th, 2020, Well Go USA is releasing the Blu-ray & DVD for The Climbers (aka Qomolangma), a survival-thriller from director Daniel Lee (Dragon Blade) and producer Tsui Hark (Once Upon a Time in China V).

The film stars Wu Jing (Wolf Warrior 2, SPL II), Zhang Ziyi (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), Jing Boran (Monster Hunt), Hu Ge (1911), Wang Jingchun (Black Coal, Thin Ice) and a special appearance by Jackie Chan (The Foreigner).

  1. I can’t wait to see the indomitable Chinese spirit help them to the top!

Jackie Chan, star of Bleeding Steel and Kung Fu Yoga! Not his good movies!

This is capable of being a good film. I hope it’s like the Hollywood film, Everest and not some bullshit cash in. Nowadays, I know people expect the later.

    • KBrowser says:

I think of him as “Jackie Chan, star of Foreigner, Dragon Blade, Little Big Soldier, and Karate Kid” to name just a few of his more notable roles. I’d like to see him in more straight roles with big budgets and top stars.

      • Andrew Hernandez says:

That comment was from when Jackie was said to be starring before Wu Jing was confirmed. I was joking about how COF credited him for those movies instead of his notable ones.

  4. Hank says:

Wow, the US trailer doesn’t even mention Jackie. If this was 20 years ago they would’ve made a whole trailer out of his cameo to make it look like he was the star. Good on Well Go for not falsely advertising the movie
