Are you ready for another wave of bloody found-footage madness from some of the most talented directors working today? If so, brace yourself for V/H/S/94 (aka V/H/S/4). The latest entry features new and returning filmmakers such as Simon Barrett (V/H/S/2), Timo Tjahjanto (The Night Comes for Us), Chloe Okuno (Slut), Jennifer Reeder (Knives & Skin) and Ryan Prows (Lowlife).
After the discovery of a mysterious VHS tape, a brutish police swat team launch a high intensity raid on a remote warehouse, only to discover a sinister cult compound whose collection of pre-recorded material uncovers a nightmarish conspiracy.
V/H/S/94 is produced by Radio Silence – a trio made up of Tyler Gillett, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Chad Villella – mostly known for Ready or Not, V/H/S, Devil’s Due, Southbound and the upcoming Scream 5.
V/H/S/94 will be the first film in the franchise to be presented in a single, fluid narrative, with each section linked up. Past entries featured segments without any narrative link beyond the framing device that bookended the film (via Collider).
Previous directors from the series included Jason Eisener, Gregg Hale, Eduardo Sánchez, Adam Wingard, David Bruckner, Justin Martinez, Nacho Vigalondo, Glenn McQuaid, Gregg Bishop, Joe Swanberg, Aaron Moorhead, Todd Lincoln, Justin Benson, Marcel Sarmiento and Ti West.
