Evil Dead Trap | Blu-ray (Unearthed Films)

On August 24, 2021, Unearthed Films will be releasing the Blu-ray for the cult classic Evil Dead Trap (read our review), a 1988 Japanese thriller from director Toshiharu Ikeda (Mermaid Legend). For the first time, the film will be presented with a New 4K Restoration.
A TV station employee takes a camera crew out to an abandoned factory to investigate a purported snuff film that was made there, only to end up running for her life. Nami hosts a late night video program. She receives a tape which appears to be a real snuff film. She and her crew investigate the location where she meets a man looking for his brother who warns her to stay away. As she gets closer to the truth, she and her friends are subjected to a brutal nightmare.
The film stars Miyuki Ono (Legend of the Holy Woman), Aya Katsuragi (Tokyo: The Last War), Japanese AV idol Hitomi Kobayashi, Eriko Nakagawa and Masahiko Abe.
