We’re not sure what’s going on regarding to the film’s plot, but judging from what we’ve seen, fans of Tjahjanto’s Macabre will be 100% satisfied (if you haven’t seen Macabre we can’t be friends).

Don’t know what the fuck’s going on, but JJ hit the nail on the head – there’s definitely a lot of Macabre’s DNA in this trailer. Neither of the Mo’s have let me down yet, doesn’t look like they’re gonna start now!

About time I’ve hit the nail. It has been a long time. 🙂

Headshot was kind of generic. I did love The Killers tho. The Mo Brothers’ strong point is horror, and I hope they stick with that. They have strong cinematography when they’re not trying to do fast-paced action scenes. I just wish they don’t ruin The Night Comes For Us. The story seems nice, and isn’t the cliche “Amnesia” or “Rescue kidnapped daughter” nonsense. This Iblis film kinda of looks like a short film.

I honestly haven’t been much of a fan of Mo Brothers’ recent output, but, man…I actually enjoyed Macabre as much as The Raid 2. That is just a tremendous thrill ride of a horror movie. I would love to see them capture some of that magic again. Here’s hoping!
