Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff may get to star alongside Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee’s daughter, Shannon Lee, in an upcoming film project.
Shroff is a rising star in India who has been cast in the Hindi remake of Rambo. According to the report, Hollywood producer Lawrence Kasanoff (True Lies, Mortal Kombat) has recently flown to Mumbai to hold the final round of discussions about the project with Shroff.
This won’t be the first time for Jackie Chan to share the screen with Bollywood stars. Mallika Sherawat is one of the female leads in The Myth, and more recently, Sonu Sood, Disha Patani and Amyra Destur star in Kung Fu Yoga.
Details about the untitled film are sketchy at the moment, but we will bring you updates as soon as we learn more.
Chuck Norris? This report sounds kind of sketchy to me. Chuck hasn’t acted since 2012 and he’s 78 now. He’s for all intents and purposes retired. Doubt he would make a big comeback in some low budget action movie with a Bollywood action star. And Shannon Lee hasn’t acted in 15+ years.
Totally agree, Don J. ‘Sketchy’ is also the word I have used in the article. While stranger things have happened in Hollywood, this one does seem to fall into the very unlikely category. Like my boss Jeff says on our Facebook page, take this one with a grain of salt, at least for the time being. When we hear more about it, whether it turns out to be actually true or completely fake, we will certainly bring you an update!
“In the meantime, here’s a trailer for Kung Fu Yoga, since we don’t want you to forget!” Lol
If this really is happening, I imagine the other actors will only have cameos. Shannon Lee should have been a bigger star after Enter the Eagles, and it’s a shame that her later films were rubbish.
It’s funny that Tiger Shroff is going to be the Indian Rambo since Stallone’s titular films are among the many that Baaghi 2 rips off.
The guy is a talented action star, and shouldn’t be wasting his career on unoriginal work.
Maybe if this was the cast for Alexander Nevsky’s next atrocity, I’d believe it.
Don’t give him ideas!
