Director Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass) is back with more super spy action with The King’s Man, the prequel to 2015’s Kingsman: The Secret Service and 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man. This ongoing film series is based on the The Secret Service comic books created by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons.
The King’s Man stars Ralph Fiennes, Harris Dickinson, Rhys Ifans, Tom Hollander, Daniel Bruhl, Gemma Arterton, Matthew Goode and Charles Dance.
The King’s Man is currently in theaters. Don’t miss the film’s Final Tailer below:
I’m glad they’re going back to the formula that worked in the first movie. The sequel’s wasted characters, insistence on dumb humor, and lack of wit hurt the series. I hope they brought back Brad Allen to do the action!
I believe he did the action on this one.
The King’s Man hit the mark very well. After how disappointing The Golden Circle was, I was happy to see everything work this time around. Ralph Fiennes was great in the lead role and did well in his numerous action scenes.
The big action highlight would have to be the scene on the western front where Ralph Fiennes’ son and British troops face off with German soldiers at night without guns so as not to alert their gunmen and grenadiers, and have a brutal match with bayonets and sledge hammers.
This year had a handful of good movies, and I was glad that this one closed it out on a high note.
