Period cage-fight thriller ‘Bedlam’ starring martial arts powerhouse Scott Adkins officially wraps production

Martial arts star Scott Adkins (Prisoner of War, John Wick 4, Ip Man 4) headlines Bedlam, an upcoming “cage fight” period martial arts actioner from director Jon Shaikh, who is perhaps best known for directing an episode of 2014’s Our World War, and acting as Assistant Director for 2019’s The Courier.

In the film, a fiery street boxer (Adkins) infiltrates London’s infamous Bedlam asylum to rescue his imprisoned sister, unleashing chaos in a brutal underworld of cage fights, corruption, and revenge.

Bedlam also stars Geoff Bell (Kingsman: The Secret Service) and Billy Clements (The Meg 2) and features action choreography by Tim Man, who has worked with Adkins on numerous titles, including Ninja: Shadow of a Tear, Eliminators and Boyka: Undisputed.

Bedlam has completed production and is now being shopped to major international markets through UK sales outfit Capture. The film has secured deals in Italy (Blue Swan), LATAM (Global Media Distribution), South Korea (Kinolights), Greece and Greek-speaking Cyprus (Spentzos), as well as Estonia, Portugal, Germany, Turkey, and Scandinavia (Daro), via Screen Daily.

U.S. audiences hang tight! Until then, check out some behind-the-scenes footage/photos below:
