Kaiju and Ultraman (well, kind of) fans rejoice! According to Beyond Hollywood, financing for a Hong Kong-made giant monster flick called Red Jade, is reportedly 100% complete. We should expect a release from Worldwide Film Entertainment in 2015.

Here’s the official plot: An archaeology student and his professor find that vandals have loosened a ferocious earth-bound monster, wrecking havoc on the city of Hong Kong, and also discover a talisman that turns the young scholar into a superhero.

As of yet, there are no directors, writers or stars officially linked to Red Jade, but we’ll keep you updated. Until then, check out the promotional trailer.
