On May 13, 2025, U.S. label WowNow is releasing a DVD for Moral Combat. We’re not sure who directed or even stars in this film, but we are pretty sure “Moral Combat” isn’t its real title (an obvious play of words off Mortal Kombat).

Despite its AI-created artwork, this film is actually a Chinese production that we need help identifying, so please comment below if you have any insight.

Official description:

In a world where honor and betrayal collide, Moral Combat tells the gripping tale of Su Can, a prodigious martial artist born into a prestigious family of officers. From a young age, Su Can’s life has been defined by his dedication to the martial arts. However, his aspirations are brutally shattered when he is framed for drug trafficking and corruption–a scandal that not only ruins his reputation but also devastates his family.

Betrayed and broken, Su Can finds himself on the run, his once-promising future now a distant memory. Amidst his despair, he encounters Liu Jiang, a revered master who takes him under his wing. Liu Jiang, seeing the potential in Su Can, nurses him back to health and teaches him the formidable and elusive Drunken Fists style of martial arts – a technique renowned for its unpredictability and raw power.

Together, they uncover a web of deceit that ties back to the powerful figures responsible for his downfall. With his newfound strength and the art of Drunken Fists at his disposal, Su Can embarks on a perilous journey to confront his enemies, reclaim his honor, and avenge the destruction of his family.

The battle unfolds with breathtaking action sequences, intricate martial arts choreography, and intense confrontations that test Su Can’s resolve and skill. As he faces formidable foes and navigates a labyrinth of treachery, Su Can’s journey is not just a fight for vengeance but a quest for redemption and justice.

Moral Combat delivers an electrifying blend of fantasy and action, where honor is hard-won, and every punch and kick carries the weight of betrayal and retribution.
