Martial arts legend Chuck Norris (Code of Silence, Slaughter in San Francisco) is teaming up with Vanilla Ice (Cool as Ice) and Sophie Monk (Click) in Zombie Plane, an upcoming Australian production from Radioactive and Entertainment Squad.
Directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier, Zombie Plane centers on a secret government organization that recruits celebrities to be undercover agents, who together must save humanity from an imminent zombie attack. Norris, Ice and Monk play themselves (actually, Norris plays Commander Chuck Norris, who mentored and trained Ice into becoming a deadly secret agent), but the feature is reportedly full of of celebrity cameos, with a ’90s pop soundtrack including tracks by Ice himself (via THR).
Along with the recent Agent Recon, Zombie Plane will be Norris’ first acting gig since appearing in a 2020 episode of the Hawaii Five-0 series, and one of his first movies since 2012’s The Expendables 2.
The film also stars Teressa Liane (Into the Badlands), Dan Ewing (Occupation: Rainfall), Ellie Gonsalves (Fighting with My Family), Ann Truong (Hard Target 2) and Johnny Huang (Bloodthirst).
Zombie Plane was shot in Australia last year, so we expect to see Trailer sooner or later. For now, we leave you with a promotional photo from the film, followed by the Trailer to one of Norris’ all-time classics:
One of Norris’ all-time classics? How did you come to that conclusion? You had me checking the calendar to make it wasn’t the 1st of April!
Hell! Even Chuck Norris voiced out loud that he regretted making Slaughter in San Francisco and tried burying it.
This new movie sounds like it could possibly be worse! I can’t wait!
Dal, I truly love how “so bad that it’s good” SISFS is, which is why I call it a classic in my book! 😉 One man’s junk is another man’s treasure, as they say!
Ahhh now l’m with you! File under guilty pleasure….ha ha
oh, Penny Ramses!
