While American audiences continue to go wild for Twilight, movie-goers in South Korea have embraced their own ‘supernatural’ love story. A Werewolf Boy is a fantasy/romance film currently breaking box office records in that region, with over 6.5 million admissions. The story follows a young woman whose family adopts a ‘feral boy’ into their home. The boy displays an uncommon devotion to his new kin but soon draws the fear and ire of local villagers.
A Werewolf Boy has proven so popular that CJ Entertainment is even screening an ‘alternate ending’ in theaters to appease fans. The trailer for the movie is up today on Apple Quicktime.
