“Kung Fu Games” Theatrical Poster
A Full Trailer has been released for Ryan C. Jaeger’s Kung Fu Games, an upcoming martial arts actioner from Paramount Movies’ The Tiger Style Ultimate Martial Arts Collection.
Kung Fu Games stars Mark Strange (Avengement), Caitlin Dechelle (Armour of God 3: Chinese Zodiac), Lathrop Walker (ECCO), Jose Manuel (Fist of the Condor) and Jade Xu.
In this action-packed thriller from the producer of (Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood), a group of renowned but notorious fighters find themselves ensnared in a deadly martial arts game show orchestrated by a powerful magnate with a thirst for violence. Armed only with their elite hand-to-hand combat skills, each battle pits the contestants in a brutal broadcasted fight for survival, where advancing means eliminating the competition in a kill or be killed showdown.
Kung Fu Games hits select theaters on August 23, as a double feature along with Lady Scorpions; Then on digital on September 10. Watch the film’s full Trailer below:
I like how this looks. It’s like a combination of The Most Dangerous Game and Battle Royale on the Shaw Brothers studio lot.
This looks awesome
nice to see caitlin dechelle getting some chances to shine. like zhang lanxin, she made quite an impact in her brief screentime in chinese zodiac 2012, but despite steady work, neither of them have really done anything onscreen to match initial promise. here’s hoping these two dtv films help raise her profile and add to our universe of young martial arts stars.
Yo… That was crazy, when the Gold Element Ninja appeared on screen, gave a sense of nostalgia. Super Ninjas is one of my favourite Ninja movies from my childhood. The Gold Element Ninjas were my favourit.
