Even during his post-legendary, A-list Hollywood status, Mel Gibson has been consistently delivering the action with films like Edge of Darkness, Get the Gringo, Blood Father, Dragged Across Concrete, and his directorial comebacks, Hacksaw Ridge and Flight Risk– not to mention the John Wick spin-off, The Continental.
Now, Mel is back yet again with Hunting Season, an upcoming thriller from director RJ Collins (Crescent City) and writer Adam Hampton (Out of Exile). It’s not quite Lethal Weapon 5, but it’ll at least give something Mel’s die hard fans want: action!
When a reclusive survivalist (Gibson) and his daughter rescue a mysterious, wounded woman from a river, they become entangled in a deadly web of violence and revenge, forcing them to confront a brutal criminal to survive.
The film also stars Shelley Hennig (Ouija), Sofia Hublitz (Ozark), A.J. Buckley (SEAL Team), Jordi Mollà (Bad Boys II) and James DuMont (Jurassic World).
Look out for Hunting Season this December from Samuel Goldwyn Films. Don’t miss the Trailer below:

Gibson should just lean into his anti-semitism and star in a film where he hunts down Mossad agents who have gone rogue. That way it appeals to people to Palestinians and their supporters as well. Win win situation
F… Netanyahu and all his friends and supporters.
Anyway, happy to finally get a Good will hunting sequel!
