August 13 | The Stormriders – An evil warlord takes in two students (Wind & Cloud) in an effort to become invincible so he can take over the world. This 1998 blockbuster is directed by Andrew Lau (Infernal Affairs) and stars Ekin Cheng (Golden Job), Aaron Kwok (Port of Call: Director’s Cut), Sonny Chiba (Soul of Chiba), Kristy Yeung (League of Gods) and Shu Qi (The Adventurers).
August 20 | The Legend of Jiang Ziya – Jiang Ziya is banished to the mortal realm after violating the code of the gods. This 2019 fantasy film stars Chan Ho Man (Love Will Travel Through Time), Niu Ze Meng (A Small Love Letter) and Yue Dong Feng (The Glory of Youth).
August 27 | The Rise of Hero (Hi-YAH! Original) – Wong Fei Hung travels to Guangzhou and discovers a conspiracy involving city leaders. The film is directed by Zhe Zhang (Fighting for the Motherland) and stars Yi Jia Wu and Xiaomi Yang.
