On April 27, 2026, 88 Films is releasing a Blu-ray for God of Gamblers II, a 1990 Hong Kong film written and directed by Wong Jing (City Hunter).
The film sports an all-star cast that includes Andy Lau (High Forces), Stephen Chow (Final Justice), Monica Chan Ng Man-tat (Island on Fire), Sharla Cheung (Handsome Siblings), Charles Heung (A Queen’s Ransom), and Chow Yun-fat (sorta, kinda…).
Back to the casino – only this time, the Joker’s wild. After his adventures with the world’s greatest gambler in the first film, crafty Knife (Lau) teams up with another preternaturally gifted card sharp, Sing (Chow), here at his absolute silliest. But the odds are stacked against them: a crooked rival wants to take Knife out for good – and he’s dealing from the bottom of the deck.
Boasting a (super)star making turn from Chow, God of Gamblers II is a tornado of comedy, action and complete and utter absurdity. The high-rollers at 88 Films are proud to present a classic of crazed canto comedy on blu-ray for the first time.

This is awesome!!! Hope they eventually do a God Of Gamblers Cinematic Universe 4K Box Set from GOG1 to at least Saint Of Gamblers. Also, is this an “All Region” or “Region B” release?
