9/6/24 | The Mysterious Story of Longyun Town (Hi-YAH! Original)

In the early years of the Republic of China, warlords from all sides fought each other, and the people were struggling to survive. The story takes place in a place called ‘Longyun Town’. According to legend, after a treasure was discovered next to the town, strange things began to happen in the town, and girls were killed one after another at home. It is said that the treasure is the gold and silver jewels buried by a rebel leader who called himself the “King of Thousand Treasures” in the previous dynasty in order to start a rebellion. The mayor and the warlord sent people to guard the treasure. The news of this treasure has attracted people from all corners of the world with evil intentions, and the small place of Longyun Town is shrouded in a conspiracy to seize the treasure.

The Mysterious Story of Longyun Town stars Chin Siu Ho (Lady Reporter), Guo Dong Hai (The Double) and Pei Luo (My Heart Forever Love).

9/13/24 | Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen 

In Andrew Lau’s Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen, the year is 1917 and Chen Zhen – the character made famous by Bruce Lee in 1972’s Fist of Fury, now played in this film by Donnie Yen) – believed to be dead, returns to Shanghai under a false name. He joins a mob boss for info on the Japanese incl. a long kill list and at night fights the Japanese masked. 9/20/24 | King of Fighters 

From director Gordon Chan (The Four) comes this Live-action feature based on the video game King of Fighters. This all-star martial arts actioner stars Maggie Q (Die Hard 4), Sean Faris (Female Fight Squad), Will Yun Lee (Rampage), Ray Park (Accident Man), Françoise Yip (Rumble in the Bronx) and future action directors, David Leitch (Atomic Blonde) and Sam Hargrave (Extraction).

9/27/24 | Little Big Soldier

Directed by Ding Sheng (A Better Tomorrow 2018) and written by Jackie Chan, Little Big Soldier takes place during the Warring States Period of China and focuses on two rival survivors of a brutal battle. One of them (Jackie Chan) is a free spirited, nature-loving foot soldier who is all about peace. The other (Wang Lee Hom) is a high-ranking, no-nonsense general, who is fueled by honor and duty. Despite being from rival armies, the two slowly learn how to cooperate as they journey through a long road of unusual circumstances and deadly situations. Read our review.
