Hot off the heels of Castle Falls, Dolph Lundgren (Black Water, Skin Trade) is taking on another starring/directing gig with Wanted Man (read our review), an upcoming action-thriller from Millennium Media.
In Wanted Man, when a cartel shooting leaves several DEA agents dead, an ageing police officer must retrieve an eyewitness and escort her across the border. But when they learn that the attack was executed by American forces, he must decide who to trust (via Deadline).
The film features a supporting cast that includes Kelsey Grammer (Cheers, Frasier, Expendables 3) and Michael Paré (Invincible, Streets of Fire).
Also starring is Micheal Worth, who is mostly known for his action film resume in the 90s/00s – such as To Be the Best, Final Impact, Fists of Iron and Isaac Florentine’s U.S. Seals II – but over the years, he has branched out to writing and directing a number of indie films in multiple genres, not to mention his upcoming Bruceploitation documentary. He’s also credited as co-writer for Wanted Man.
The film is being backed by Expendables alumni Jeffrey Greenstein, Jonathan Yunger, Avi Lerner, Boaz Davidson and Trevor Short.
Look out for for the film in January 19, 2024. Until then, here’s the film’s Newest Trailer:
This could work if it’s shot like a western with a lot of desert scenes and grizzled old school action. Same thing with the Isaac Florentine directed Dolph Lundgren, Harvey Keitel and Stephen Lang. These are onesI will give a chance.
Decent looking trailer. Hope it turns out to be a gem on a budget.
