On July 22, 2025, 88 Films will release a Blu-ray (Region A/B) for Detonation: Violent Riders (aka Detonation! Violent Tribe), a 1975 bosozoku (Japanese youth subculture associated with customized motorcycles) exploitation film from director Teruo Ishii (Blind Woman’s Curse).
Detonation: Violent Riders revolves around two biker gangs who go head to head after a mechanic falls in love with an innocent, but gang tied, woman.
The film stars Sonny Chiba (Fighting Fist), Kôichi Iwaki (Doberman Cop), Tomoko Ai (Terror of Mechagodzilla), Junko Matsudaira (Bullet Train) and Hiroshi Nawa (Outlaw: Heartless).
