THE MOVIE: After returning home from a traumatic tour of duty in Iraq, John (Cung Le) finds himself rescuing a local call girl from a group of violent Aryan Brotherhood pimps. Having killed several of them in the process, John and his family are now the prime targets of Hollis, the ruthless criminal leader of the group.
The director of Puncture Wounds (aka A Certain Justice or Justice) is James Coyne, an up-and-coming filmmaker whose major credit thus far is a short film titled Vanished and serving as a co-producer on the live-action Tekken movie. The film stars Cung Le (Dragon Eyes), Dolph Lundgren (The Expendables) and Vinnie Jones (Snatch).
Updates: Cung Le shared a picture of himself with Dolph. | Puncture Wounds is a bit of a passion project for Cung Le, as he discussed the screenplay four years ago before starring in 2009’s Pandorum. Cung describes Justice as an ‘amazing’ cross between First Blood and No Country For Old Men. | Photos from Puncture Wounds on IMDB reveal that the film may be heavily influenced by The Raid!
Looks like Lionsgate has changed the title from A Certain Justice to Puncture Wounds for the film’s DVD release.
BREAKING NEWS: Watch the newest trailer. Puncture Wounds is now available for a March 11, 2014 pre-order at Amazon.com.
It seems to bear two titles: A CERTAIN JUSTICE and JUSTICE IS COMING.
Le has been working on this project for a while and talked about it four years ago:
“CERTAIN JUSTICE is going to be hot. It’s an amazing script. We got some people looking at it. We don’t have a director yet. It’s like FIRST BLOOD meets NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. Amazing script. Next to PANDORUM, it’s a one-two punch. It’s either CERTAIN JUSTICE or PANDORUM that caught my attention when I read it. I could not put the script down. I was like, ‘I need to do this.’ The script was written for me. My manager manages the writer. I can’t wait ’til that project gets going.”

This is quite possibly the lamest title ever, and I like Dolph Lundgren flicks.
Well, Exit Wounds was taken.
