With titles like Take Back, Section 8, and most recently, Lights Out, Christian Sesma (Vigilante Diaries) is becoming the go-to filmmaker for ensemble films featuring B-movie action and martial arts stars. The action director will most-likely continue this tradition with the upcoming SHTLIST (aka SH*TLIST), an upcoming thriller Sesma is co-writing with Ken Miller, who is perhaps best known for 2012’s Kill ’em All (the one with Johnny Messner, Gordon Liu, Joe Lewis, Brahim Chab and Tim Man – NOT the Van Damme one of the same name).
No lead or co-stars have been announced, but given Sesma’s track record, we can only wonder if names like Michael Jai White (Take Back), Frank Grillo (Boss Level), Mekhi Phifer (Truth Be Told), Scott Adkins (Castle Falls), JuJu Chan (Jiu Jitsu), Dermot Mulroney (Hanna), MMA fighter-turned-actor Donald Cerrone (Project Legion), Ryan Kwanten (Section 8), Dolph Lundgren (Wanted Man), Luke Goss (Cartels) or even Mickey Rourke (Double Team) will be involved.

Leading into EFM at Berlin, Blue Eyes Film is proud to announce that it has picked up worldwide rights to the action film: SHTLIST (aka SH*TLIST), which is said to be The Raid meets Kill Bill and which will be introduced to buyers at EFM.
The film is set to be directed by renowned action filmmaker – Christian Sesma (Lights Out) and is written by Ken Miller (Kill ’em All ) and Sesma.
Surviving an attempt on his life, a man wakes with his broken arm in a cast, signed by those who tried to have him killed. Suffering from amnesia, he goes on a merciless mission of revenge to cross off those names and kill the man responsible for murdering the woman he loves – but he may realize, as his memory returns, that he’s not the good guy in this…
The film is being Executive Produced by Michael Cowan (Merchant of Venice, Head In The Clouds, Lord of War, Undertaking Betty, Iron Sky) for Blue Eyes Film, and Produced by Jayney Mackie (A Christmas Wish) at Pink Flamingo Media Group, and by Rick Baker (Stop! Kung Fu!) and Ken Miller (Kill ‘Em All) at Eastern Heroes Productions.
Co-producers will be Mbrella Films Thailand who recently produced the action film Hellhound. The film is being packaged for a start date at the end of Q2 and we will be announcing the lead shortly.
