On February 17, 2025, Third Window Films is releasing a Blu-ray for Bumpkin Soup, a 1985 “sex comedy” from Kiyoshi Kurosawa (Pulse) that stars Yoriko Doguchi (Love Exposure).
In the film, a country girl (Doguchi) visits Tokyo in search of her college heartthrob. Here she meets horny students, a psychology professor in search of the theory of shame, and Yoshioka who has become a campus nobody.
