“Back to the Past” Teaser Poster
Later this year, Louis Koo will return in Ng Yuen-fai and Jack Lai’s Back to the Past, the long-awaited “movie” sequel to his 2001 television series, A Step into the Past.
The original television series, based on Huang Yi’s novel The Chronicles of Searching Qin, centered around a 21st-century VIPPU special agent (Koo) who gets entangled in a time traveling experiment.
Co-stars (some returning from the TV series as well) include Raymond Lam (Saving General Yang), Jessica Hsuan (A Witness Out of the Blue), Sonija Kwok (The Sorcerer and the White Snake), Joyce Tang (72 Tenants of Prosperity) and Michelle Saram (Paradox). The film features martial arts choreography by Sammo Hung (Eastern Condors).

One of the very first TV dramas I remember watching. They seem to have gotten a lot of the original cast back too so this would be a good nostalgia trip for those fans.
It’s kind of like a “reverse” Cobra Kai. =)
