Zhang reprises his scene-stealing role as Cheung Tin-chi from Ip Man 3. The film also stars Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny), Tony Jaa (xXx: Return of Xander Cage) and Dave Bautista (Kickboxer: Vengeance).
After defeated by Ip Man, Cheung Tin Chi (Zhang) lives a depressed life and stays low profile. While Tin Chi tries to stay out of trouble, he gets himself into a fight with the foreigner Davidson (Bautista), big boss behind bar district. Tin Chi fights hard with Wing Chun and earns respect.

I’m down for this one. I’d like to see Zhang Jin in more big budget films too.
Saw it with subtitles, I thought the actual Wing Chun was better in the actual Ip Man flicks. Even though I liked Tin Chi”s altered style better, but I’ve also thought it was just because he wore shirts and pants instead of just the robe you can see the angles of his form better. Gotta love the look of a good Bong Sau!

Good thing it has both English dub as well as the Cantonese and Mandarin tracks. That is great.
