Shout! Factory presents the Blu-ray & DVD for Vic Armstrong’s Joshua Tree (aka Army of One), starring Dolph Lundgren, George Segal and Kristian Alfonso. A framed prison escapee unknowingly kidnaps a female cop en-route to a rendezvous with the corrupt cop who put him behind bars. Shout!’s Joshua Tree will have both endings, audio commentary (with Vic and Andy Armstrong), and interviews (with Vic and Andy Armstrong; and Dolph Lundgren). Watch the trailer.
This movie is pretty unremarkable except right at the halfway point there’s a huge, lengthy shootout that basically rips off every John Woo fick ever…but it’s totally awesome!
I’m surprised they haven’t repackaged SHOWDOWN IN LITTLE TOKYO for some kind of special release. It has the best line ever: “You’ve got the biggest dick I’ve ever seen on a man”
