“Rise of the Conqueror” Poster
On Digital April 14th from Well Go USA is Rise of the Conqueror, an upcoming period actioner from Jacob Schwarz (co-director of Artifact War).
Filmed on the breathtaking steppes of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, this Uzbekistan-United States-Kazakhstan produced film is a historical thriller with a global cast and epic scale.
Rise of the Conqueror tells the story of Timur Barlas, a battle-scarred ruler who brought order to a fractured land.
The film stars Christian Mortensen (The Candidate), Mahesh Jadu (Marco Polo), Yulduz Rajabova (Scorpion) and Joshua Jo (The Full Monty series).
Stunt and action choreography comes courtesy of Zhaidarbek Kunguzhinov, who is perhaps best known for 2012’s The Expendables 2 and Paul Bramhall’s 2017 favorite, Diamond Cartel.
Hot Take: From the Trailer alone, these Kazakhstan produced films look classy and epic. That said, we have high hopes for Armour of God 4!
