Coming soon from Netflix is the South Korean thriller Ballerina (read our review), which comes from writer/director Lee Choong-Hyun, who made a solid directorial debut with 2020’s The Call.

Of course, this film is not to be confused with Ana de Armas and Len Wiseman’s upcoming John Wick franchise spin-off that shares the same name.

Grieving the loss of a best friend she couldn’t protect, an ex-bodyguard sets out to fulfill her dear friend’s last wish: sweet revenge.

Ballerina stars Jun Jong-Seo (Burning), Kim Ji-Hoon (The Age of Blood) and Park Yoo-Rim (Drive My Car).

Look out for it on Netflix on October 6. Until then, don’t miss the film’s Trailer:

I wonder if the other movie will change its title because of this one. It could be confusing for people out there.
