GWAILO'S REVIEW: Sequel, I guess, in name only to 1993's Organized Crime and Triad Bureau. This effort tries to capitalize on the early 90's craze of nasty Category III films. Ben Ng and Lily Chung, who were team up in the future for Billy Tangs great Red to Kill, star in this misfire that would, and should have been one to talk about. The first 20 minutes of this film are insane. Ben Ng accidentally kills Lily Chung (he shoves her, she falls, hit's her head on table). What follows is one of the most rough sequences in a Cat. III movie. It involves Ng smoking a few bones, guzzling alcohol, and a whirring Mikita chainsaw!! I'm telling you it's cool, Unfortunately it falls apart after that. There is no more violence. And that's a sin for a CAT. III film! The next hour and 15 are snooze inducing ( you know the kind, where you're head begins to sink but you wake up just in time to be really embarrassed). I love to see Lily Chung being tortured, raped, murdered, etc. on camera. If you haven't seen it I suggest you do, it's a delight. She was great in Tang's Red to Kill and Brother of Darkness. Alas, if you want to see a great beginning to a film, seek this one out. After 20 minutes press open on you're DVD player.
