RELEASE DATE: May 28, 2019
On May 28th 2019, Unearthed Films is releasing the Blu-ray & DVD for a “found footage” film titled A Record of Sweet Murder (read our review), a Korean-Japanese co-production from Japanese filmmaker Koji Shiraishi (Grotesque, Sadako vs Kayako)
Soyeon (Kim Kkobbi, Sunshine Boys) is an active journalist on a mission for social justice. One day, she receives a call from a serial killer. Revealing himself as Soyeon’s childhood friend Sangjoon (Yeon Je-wook, Public Enemy Returns), he is a fugitive on the run after escaping from a mental institute and killing 18 people. His request is, surprisingly, a personal interview (via HC).

Could be interesting. Could be.
Someone should release Shiraishi’s “Senritsu Kaiki File” films with subtitles as well.
