In March, U.S. label Terror Vision is releasing a Blu-ray for Enter the Panther (aka Conspiracy), a 1975 Taiwanese kung fu film from director Han Bao-Chang (The Great Hero), featuring an early starring role by Bruce Li/Ho Tsung-Tao (Lama Avenger, Super Dragon).
Enter the Panther delivers the hits and kicks of kung fu action at its most violent! A struggle for control of a gold mine begins with a violent poisoning… and doesn’t end until the body count piles high. Martial Arts Master Bruce Li battles his way out of frightening narrow escapes. From the opening scenes through to the brutal fight-to-the-finish, this film is packed with hard-hitting action. This is kung fu at its bloodiest- and Bruce Li at his peak of power!
Terror Vision is proud to present this lost to time Bruceploitation oddity in HD for the very first time (w/ an alt VHS cut). Enter the Panther is one of rarest films from this Martial Arts sub-genre. Terror Vision was honored to work with Severin Films in order to locate what we believe is one of the last remaining prints of this film in existence. It was as beaten and battered as some of the opponents in the movie, and its grindhouse look, and texture will take you back to another time and place!
NOTE: This print came from Spain which it has burned in Spanish subtitles at the bottom.
