  1. Favorite movie with the word “Fire”:
Ringo Lam’s CITY ON FIRE, for obvious reasons. 🙂

Favorite movie with the word “Storm”:
Wolfgang Petersen’s THE PERFECT STORM because, well, characters played by Hollywood A-listers die.

  2. Ben says:

I thought Firefox (1982) with Clint Eastwood is pretty cool. I like its realistic portrayal of Cold War-era Soviet secrecy and espionage.

  3. Joe R says:

    Stormriders!

  4. Doug L says:

probably Man on Fire. a tony scott classic.

  5. Shaun W says:

I think my favorite film with “fire” in the title must be “Man on Fire.” Denzel Washington as a badass babysitter, explosives in bodily orifices, Christopher Walken AND Mickey Rourke, a genuinely heartfelt ending and, of course, the fact it was directed by the late, great Tony Scott.

  6. Jeff says:

As for Asian films, I like the first Storm Riders film series with Aaron Kwok and Ekin Cheng. And of course, the origination of this website name “City on Fire” with Chow Yun-Fat.

  7. Will G says:

    Fireproof

  8. bill norris says:

They’re Play with Fire…… i dig those cheesy b movie comedies

  9. Matthew A. says:

My favorite would be Stormriders, great fantasy action and awesome storyline, my second favorite would be Man on Fire.

  10. Alan tan says:

The ice storm by director ang lee, may not be action, but it was a well directed movie

  11. Lee Golden says:

The Storm Warriors – because Danny and Oxide Pang did a much cleaner, leaner sequel to its colorful first film. Very graphic novel-esque and rich.

  12. Mo says:

Like many of the folks here, I LOVE the Tony Scott/Denzel Washington combo “Man on Fire” (I’ve been hunting for a legit copy of the 1987 Scott Glenn version), but I’m going to completely switch gears and go with the 1941 Howard Hawks classic: “Ball of Fire”. It’s a gem of a romantic comedy and one of my all-time favourites…even though there ain’t a real lick of action in the flick.

  13. Nick says:

Fire Down Below, yeah, that cheesy Seagal flick, I can’t help myself. I dig those 90’s action flicks, rainy day viewing.

  14. Austin Baroudi says:

    The Hunger Games: Catching Fire!

  15. Daniel M says:

man on fire, denzel rocked it!

  16. Ron Raymundo says:

Rapid Fire. Dopest Hong Kong Style American movie of its time.

  17. Travis E says:

Man on Fire. Great revenge-type movie. Denzel tears it up.

  18. Chris Lane says:

The Perfect Storm was a pretty intense movie!

  19. Stanley B. says:

Firestarter. Drew Barrymore with pyrokinetic powers? What’s not to love?

  20. David says:

I agree with Ron. Rapid Fire with Brandon killed it for it’s time.

  21. Nick says:

I looked through my collection of movies, and the only movie I seem to own with either word in the title is Rapid Fire, which stars Brandon Lee. A decent movie with some decent action. Good to see that Brandon got some decent work. RIP man.

  22. Carleigh says:

    Catching Fire 😀
