Kim Sung-Hoon, the director of 2014’s A Hard Day and 2016’s Tunnel, is back with Ransomed (aka Unofficial Operation), an upcoming South Korean action comedy that’s due to hit U.S. theaters on August 4th.

The film (read our review) is headlined by Ha Jung-Woo (The Yellow Sea, Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds) and Ju Ji-Hoon (Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days).

In Ransomed, a young diplomat (Ha Jung-Woo) is assigned the task of carrying the ransom money to rescue an abducted diplomat in Lebanon, and a local taxi driver (Ju Ji-Hoon)accidentally gets involved in the mission.

    A hard day was a huge pile of…fun, The tunnel was one of the rare movies of its kind I liked, so…this one’s on my list!
