Today’s Deal on Fire is the Blu-ray for Choi Jae-Hoon’s period actioner, The Swordsman (read our review).
The film features an all-star cast that includes South Korean stars Jang Hyuk (The Flu, Windstuck) and Jung Man-sik (The Battleship Island, Rampant), and Indonesian action star Joe Taslim (The Night Comes for Us, The Raid).
After being blinded in a coup against the king, Joseon’s greatest swordsman (Jang Hyuk) goes into hiding, far removed from his city’s anguish. But when traffickers kidnap his daughter, he has no choice but to unsheathe his sword once more. Also starring Kim Hyeon-soo (Be with You), Joe Taslim (The Raid), Jeong Man-sik (Beasts Clawing at Straws), Lee Na-kyung (Operation Chromite) and Lee Min-hyuk (A Love to Kill).

I’m interested. But before that release Crazy Samurai Musashi on Blu-Ray, even if I’m the only one who liked it a lot.
I hope the CGI-Matrix stuff for the weapons was just for the trailer, or I’m out.
Doesn’t look bad at all! I’ll buy it if I can get it from the UK or Germany…
