Jackie Chan & “eternal love”…does anyone really need anything else in their lives?

  2. Ningen says:

It’s only Vash, ‘Cus Stampede was already taken.

  3. xino says:

Jackie Chan’s movies has been failing recently!
the last recent movie he did that was ok…not good but ok was The Foreigner.

So far the recent 2006+ movie he did was Police Story Lockdown, and that was a damn good movie.

he needs to go back doing action movies that rocks, not fantasy crap.

just like Donnie Yen, he needs to do action movies like Flashpoint style era

  4. Andrew Hernandez says:

Come on, Jackie! You got a good thing going for you with movies like The Foreigner! Don’t do crap like this!

  5. Nivek says:

    Sweet!
I love me some chinese mythology and a good adventure!
You action fanatics need to lighten up…

  6. Saku says:

Looks like trash. Just like most of his recent films.

At least this looks less embarrassing than that weird Tron knockoff he did recently.

Chinese (PRC) can’t make good movies. Their films are filled with CGI and prettyboy models instead of people who know how to act and know martial-arts. Guys like Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao would have never gotten cast in China. Sadly, in the last few decades, as they’ve grown in size and the Hong Kong film industry has pretty much merged with them, they’ve killed HK films. The glory days of HK are dead.

  7. Mike Retter says:

With all the humourless mainland Chinese films around, this brings a smile to my face. But I agree with Saku, the glory days of Hong Kong is over.

  8. Dan says:

What.The.Hell? I will watch almost anything with Jackie in it but I have to draw the line here. That looks horrible. And is Jackie insisting the special effects people de-age him in this movie too?

    • “And is Jackie insisting the special effects people de-age him in this movie too?”

Glad I wasn’t the only one who picked up on that.

    • karly says:

I hate to say it… but I have to agree. I’m kinda embarrassed such a talented guy would make this film. I LOVE a lot of his more recent, less action oriented work – but this? ::shiver:: no. just no.

    • Mel says:

It was fantastic! Funny, action, love story, hero villain, role model\apprenticeship, fantasy. I never watched the trailer before today and I bought the movie (bootleg unfortunately, I know horrible to encourage) the beginning of March and absolutely love love loved it.

  9. Rico says:

I have been a Jackie fan for 40 years or so, but i refuse to watch this 🙂

Same as i refuse to watch Kung Fu yoga.

    • karly says:

Kung Fu Yoga had some moments.
Not sure I’ll be able to say as much for this new fantasy thing.
      ugh.

      • Sharon says:

Agreed. Kung Fu Yoga was mostly bad but did make me laugh. This is a travesty. I love fantasy but this falls flat. The monsters aren’t cute or even funny and the joke at the end of this trailer fell as flat as Jackie did.

  10. Aerosniff Someglue says:

I’ll wait for the reviews. It sure won’t be as fucking nice as Detective Dee III, but it can’t be as bad as The journey to the West – The demons strike back.

  11. Aerosniff Someglue says:

Chinese (PRC) can’t make good movies.

You don’t know shit about mainland Chinese cinema (except the big budget movies you hate so much), so shut up.

  12. Park hei ran says:

Wow!i like it so much thank you my idol jackie😍when i see this i already wanted to watch it so i do n search but still n not come out😁im still waiting i like adventure with magic, look like same n my dreams i have a lot like im fying😘😘gogogo n goodluck we love you n support your movies
As my family like your movie action too…

  13. Aerosniff Someglue says:

Less than 10 minutes into the “movie” and, at the second giant fart (you don’t believe me?) made by a gentle CGI monster, I decided I had something better to do: to cry then go to sleep.

  14. kaiser says:

They both have serious problems managing their products. Jackie only makes movies around exotic places to make deals with the local powers that be, advertise and even more money, put in a bunch of young celebrities doing stupid gags or things he used to do in the past, idiotic stories and bad special effects. Donnie can’t understand why he doesn’t do good stuff like Spl or Flashpoint, but only bullshit for Chinese people who like idiotic stories. They’re getting older and they think they’re making movies for their own good, leaving aside the quality. Jackie did more shit than Donnie, though. I don’t understand why they don’t calm down, make peace with their bank account and think about making products they’ll be remembered for. Apart from the idiot Chinese audience, I don’t think they want to see them kick around forever, Donnie can still do it well, but Jackie should play different roles without idiotic scenes and marketing just for his own benefit. The last good ones are: Kung fu jungle, Special Id (only the fight scenes), Police story 2013 (at least he was trying to make a different movie) the foreigner. All the rest are things to look at and simply be ashamed of.

Yeah, they should do like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Nicolas Cage and Co and act only for the sake of art in movies that will be remembered untill the end of time.

      You: STUPID xenophobic turd.
