‘But in the next one, we are going to reduce the actors, and let’s just say, expand the screen time of each star.’

That’s probably what they shoulda done with this one.

  2. Dan says:

Less is more would definitely be a step in the right direction at this point. But it’s a shame Jackie’s ego was letting him get in the way of being in thee movies.

  4. Nick says:

Stallone is right, but what also needs to be done for this series is hire some actual writers. Sorry Stallone, but your writing is really hurting this series, which has the ungodly potential of being great, but you’re holding it back.

  5. STDZ says:

You should have done that on the 3rd one Stallone. It doesn’t help either when people pirate the film and sell it at the local gas station for 3 bucks either.

  6. Dan says:

“Despite Expendables 3′s box office belly flop – due to the film’s online leakage, according to Lionsgate”

Did you guys see where it was determined that if every single person in North America who downloaded the movie went to see it, it would have only added around 4 million to the film’s overall take? Nice try Lionsgate, lol.

  7. Tien Kwon says:

“I don’t know. We got so ripped off. If I do another one it’s going to be a lot bloodier though…hardcore R.”

    That’s so dumb jock quote.

Jackie’s ego didn’t get in the way. The writing sucks. Stallone was lucky that Jet Li even considered to hop on board. Van Damme is probably laughing his ass off that part 3 sucked monkey balls. Watching Sly yap about passing on the torch to the younglings, I didn’t get any goose bumps. The idea sounded very old fashion and lame to be honest.

The concept is good, but the story sucks. If the story was actually decent, I think they would have gotten more of the people who are action stars. Donnie Yen would’ve accepted a role in part 2, and Jackie Chan for part 3.

  8. Andymovieman says:

Jack Nicholson definitely. Harrison ford should also be revealed to be working with him and Dwayne Johnson, Steven Seagal, etc. To get rid of the expendables. They need to kill off Kellan lutz, Victor Ortiz, Randy couture and Jet Li and maybe Glen Powell. Bring back Bruce Willis as Church, Mickey Rourke as Tool and Jean Claude Van Damme as Claude Vilain the brother of Jean Vilain from the second. Get more 80s and 90s badasses. No more freaking young blood. This is the expendables, not the avengers or transformers. This is supposed to be a homage to 80s and 90s action. Get jackie chan, Ron Perlman, Tommy Lee Jones, Danny Trejo, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Carl weathers, mr. T, hulk hogan, christopher lambert, vin diesel, Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, Denzel Washington, kev

  9. Andymovieman says:

Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell if he can get his head out of his ass, Liam Neeson, chow yun fat, etc.

  10. Andymovieman says:

Tommy Lee Jones would be good as a law enforcement agent or a megalomaniacal diabolical terrorist like he played in his other movies. Ed Harris too. Danny trejo needs to be in this film and why? Because he’s one of the 80s and 90s badasses we need and plus he worked with some of the expendables like Stallone, Antonio Banderas, mickey Rourke, Mel Gibson, etc. No more jerking him around Sly. Give this man a part in the fourth one. Also make peace with Carl Weathers and give him a part in this film. Help him to reunite with you Arnold and Dolph. Get Ron Perlman cause he said he was interested in this and besides sons of anarchy, hellboy, Star Trek nemesis and alien reserrection says it all. Harrison Ford should be the traitorous villain similar to his role in the 1974 the conversation. Bring back Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke and Jean Claude Van Damme in this film to bring closure for the first two. Kill off some of the young and old expendables like I said before.

  11. Andymovieman says:

    Jackie chan hell yes!

  12. Andymovieman says:

Jeff Bridges would be good to add to the franchise along with Kris Kristofferson, Tommy Lee Jones, Chris Cooper, Kevin Costner, Andy Garcia, Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin and his brothers, Ron Perlman, Michael Bowen, Danny Trejo, Jeff Fahey, Michael Madsen, Harvey Keitel, tom Sizemore, Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi, John goodman, Steven Seagal, Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, John Cusack, Nicolas Cage, John Travolta, Ray Liotta, Robert Patrick, Michael Ironside, Bill Duke, Keith David, Louis Gossett Jr., Don Johnson, Nick Nolte, John Malkovich, Gary Sinise, Ed Harris, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, Gary Oldman, Liam Neeson, Denzel Washington, etc. Ray Winstone, Frank Grillo, Damian Young and Danny Huston from Edge of Darkness with Mel Gibson would also be good to add as bad guys.

  13. Andymovieman says:

4 needs to better than 3 was. They need to kill some expendables off like I said. So they should kill 2 of the older guys like Randy couture and Jet Li and the young kids too. Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, and Jean Claude Van Damme return this time reprising their roles except that van Damme plays the twin brother of his character from the second. So this way it’ll be better and we can have a good action movie with 80s and 90s badasses. Hulk Hogan, Dwayne Johnson, Jack Nicholson, etc., are all good choices for villains. I hope the plot is better than the last movie’s plot. They need to make it like a conspiracy thriller and Harrison Ford could be the villain like he was in the conversation (1974).

  14. STDZ says:

Seagal will only do movies he can star in, that’s why he only lives in the DTV market. His ego is too much, and he doesn’t work well with other actors.

  15. hogansucks says:

    screw hogan!and rock

jackie chan should be in it and leave out stupid ass chuck norris

  16. Andymovieman says:

Don’t get Robert De Niro cause he’s gotten too political. Since Jack Nicholson probably won’t be able to play the villain, I’ve got a list of actors who could replace Jack Nicholson like Harrison ford, Michael Douglas, Richard Dreyfuss, james Caan, Armand assante, Ray Liotta, Don Johnson, burt reynolds, Jon Voight, Gary Sinise, james woods, John Malkovich, Ed Harris, John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman, Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman, Sean bean, Michael Nouri, Willem Dafoe, William Sadler, Michael Madsen, and Tom Sizemore
