Donnie Yen tends to say random, spur of the moment things in interviews – remember when he said he was gonna retire from acting at age 50? – but I still think this is good news. Outside of the first “Ip Man,” my favorite recent Donnie movies have been his contemporary action flicks. His fight against Colin Chou at the end of “Flashpoint” is one of his best fights, ever. I like when he plays bad-ass cops.

I’d watch this in a heartbeat.. Heck I hope they make 50 of these movies, I love the Ip Man Universe!!!!

  3. NegativeCreep says:

They better make an IP Man 3 or I’ll be dissapointed!!!!

  4. That would be cool. After watching Wu Xia, I wouldn’t mind seeing Peter Chan direct. I just hope Donnie Yen never makes a movie with Andrew Lau again… Legend of Fist was horrid.
