    Nice one!

  2. Daniel BARRIER says:

i have the german bluray of this one and the quality is awesome & contains 5.1 english tracks too

  3. Paul Bramhall says:

A legitimate Bruceploitation Blu-ray release from a 2K scan…am I dreaming? Bring it on! Have you experienced Bruce’s fingers? #metoo

    • Richard Li says:

Paul, was the German blu ray of this film released last year not legitimate?!

      • Paul Bramhall says:

I’m not sure about the 2K scan part…but in any case, yes that was a legitimate release. My comment was more from the perspective of having a Bruceploitation title receiving a U.S. Blu-ray release. Germany has never suffered the drought of physical media releases when it comes to kung-fu like they have Stateside, which is great and shows what a dedicated fan-base the country has. In the U.S. several years went by with almost no notable titles being released, on DVD or Blu-ray, so the fact that this is hitting the shelves is a reason for celebration, and hopefully a sign of things to come.

  4. Jonathan Mitchell says:

One of the better Bruceploitation films, for sure. Interesting use of slow motion and electronic music during the final fight.

  5. Ningen says:

Wow, I kinda fought they were fucking around in that other movie. But after seeing the trailer, the Finishing the Game guys really *did* see the Bruce Lee knock-off movies.

  6. BruceploitationBible says:

We have scanned a very nice 35mm print of the film. If you saw the DVD release from VCI, you get an idea of the quality of that. Plus, 2018 will see 2k scans of some rare Bruceploitation. I can say that three great titles, one even qualifying as amazing, are already scanned and announcements coming soon.

    • JJ Bona says:

Big Boss II? Come on, man. Give me the scoop. 🙂

      • BruceploitationBible says:

Let’s just say you won’t be disappointed in the releases. 🙂

This last year, searching for not only the rights to the films but workable prints has been a rough one. The archives in Asia have some pretty atrocious prints in storage and it’s been private collectors that have been turning up the best prints for scanning. But, there are at least 6 other film titles that will be coming out over the next year I am involved in.

    • Paul Bramhall says:

This news puts a great big Dragon Lee Cheshire Cat style smile on my face.

    • morgan browne says:

“The real Bruce Lee” will be fun but “The steel fisted dragon” and “The dragon lives” on blu also will hopefully be bought but not watched so that much better Bruceploitation
can have a chance at being released.

  7. Killer Meteor says:

Does the new 2k scan include the full ending – which was cut on the old DVD
