Thanks for posting all the great information!

Willie Chan does deserve an award. He has done a lot in the business and community most people do not know about.

Were there any winners that surprised you?

  2. Yes, Willie Chan has done a lot. Just think, there would be no To Kill With Intrigue lol (I think it was Willie who hooked Jackie up with Lo Wei). As far as being surprised… hmmm… I have to say, I missed a lot of those movie. The dude who won supporting actor for Bruce Lee My Brother… I didn’t really see anything special about him or his performance.

I am glad Susan Shaw (aka Shaw Yum Yum) won; look her up, she has had one heck of a career (ups and downs). She used to be somewhat of a sex starlet who was able to conquer all sorts of genres: mainstream, grindhouse, etc.

I’m interested in seeing “The Stool Pigeon.” I think Nic Tse is a good actor. Wanna check out that new Tsui Hark film, too. Best director? Damn, that guy has been biting the bullet forever. Good to see he has another success, the first in years.

Very informative MPM! Some great stuff to look for. Detective Dee And The Mystery Of The Phantom Flame has intrigued my curiosity! I’m finally not as busy anymore and can concentrate on relieving stress, meaning viewing and reviewing!!

  5. JJ Hatfield says:

I’d really like to see “The Stool Pidgeon. What is Tsui’s latest? Did I miss one or just forgotten, lol.

Well now that you have that elusive time thing dealt with time to start writing reviews. You had a long enough vacation.

    Get to it!
